Class ’75 brings in more support for UPHSI

The UP High School Class of 1975 formally turned over their donation to UP High School in Iloilo, College of Arts and Sciences, UP Visayas on April 26, 2016. The donated items include 21 computer units, 1 printer, 2 ceiling fans, 1 wall fan, and 1 air conditioning unit for the new high school building.

Prof. Amy D. Tanoy, Director of the UP Visayas Office of Alumni Relations, who also belongs to the donating class, hosted the program. Dr. Lourdes C. Zamora, UPHSI Principal welcomed the guests and gave updates about UPHSI. Dr. Crisostomo Akol and Dr. Elmer Alger both gave messages in behalf of their class. Akol and Alger recalled some of their fond memories and talked about how their teachers and experiences influenced them.

Representatives of Class’75 and UPHSI later signed the Deed of Donation.

UPV personnel, HS faculty, and alumni of HS Class ’75 were present during the ceremonies.

The ceremony was organized by UPHSI and UPV Office of Alumni Relations.
