UPVTC gets 95.83% passing rate, produces two Top 3 passers in psychometrician board exam
With a 95.83% passing rate and two examinees who both ranked third, UP Visayas Tacloban College (UPVTC) performed strongly in the August 2016 Psychometrician Licensure Examination administered by the Board of Psychology of the Professional Regulation Commission in various parts of the country.
The two UPVTC alumnae who landed in the Top 3 spot are Cyrene Camposano and Cristy Pestilos. The other successful examinees are Glenda Elaine Alas, Angelika Ambal, Angie Asumbrado, Patrick Vense Bajamunde, Deanna Jill Balagasay, Christine Joy Bato, Faye Jessa Egargo, Regine May Gayon, Richie Labaclado, Elaine Medalla, Jane Louwella Nicart, Loricar Orais, Rosemarie Orbeta, Rogene Ramos, Leonel Relis, Regine Saberon, Jaycel Sison, Dhorie Jane Sulla, Louille Ann Tan, Kimberly Mae Tañola, and Sybil Yanong. The examinees were tested on four subjects namely, Theories of Personality, Abnormal Psychology, Industrial Psychology, and Psychological Assessment.
The 23 board passers made history as UPVTC’s first ever batch of psychometricians. UPVTC’s psychology curriculum was revised from Bachelor of Arts Social Sciences program to a full Bachelor of Arts program in 2012. (By: Pierce S. Docena, UPVTC)
