CAS admin personnel participate in PRMA seminar-workshop
Six administrative personnel from the College of Arts and Sciences, UP Visayas participated in the live-out seminar-workshop on “RM201: ISO-Compliant Records Management Processes and Control” organized by Philippine Records Management Association (PRMA), Inc. on September 13-15, 2016 at the Deluxe Hotel, Capt. Vicente Roa, Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental.
The three-day seminar-workshop aims for the participants to be able: 1) to know how to classify records; 2) to learn the most efficient ways of filing, saving time in locating records, as well as saving on office space, and 3) to know the legal time period for keeping and disposing a records.
The participants from the different CAS units include Ms. Ma. Susan C. Otero (CAS Dean’s Office), Ms. Jenelie A. Acosa (Division of Professional Education), Ms. Maritess C. Ferraris (Office of the CAS College Secretary), Ms. Gene Ann F. Camaymayan (Division of Biological Sciences), Mr. Enrique N. Legaspi III (Department of Chemistry), and Mr. Samuel L. Funtecha (Division of Social Sciences).
The PRMA is a non-profit organization organized and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
