BFAR personnel attend training at CFOS-IA
Six personnel from the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR-Region 3) participated in the recently concluded three-day Training Course on Aquaculture held on July 18-20, 2017 at the Institute of Aquaculture (IA) hatchery laboratory and facilities in Miagao, Iloilo.
The training program was provided to orient and update the participants about the current trends in Aquaculture technology including the inventions and innovations developed by the Faculty and researchers of IA through the DOST-PCAARRD and USAID Programs.
The active participations of the dynamic team composed of Mr. Nicomedes B. Wamil, Ms. Jo Ann L. De Vera, Ms. Jenette R. Cataluňa, Mr. Jamil A. Anuga, Mr. Pedro A. Romantico and Mr. Nico Leander made the short training course lively and productive. Certificates of Participations were distributed to trainees by Dr. Rex Ferdinand M. Traifalgar, Director of the Institute of Aquaculture during the closing program held on July 21, 2017 at the IA Activity Hall, Miagao, Iloilo.
