Bloodletting honors alumnus Manny Villa

The family of the late Manuel “Manny” E. Villa, Jr. (High School 1957, UPIC) through his son Michael Francis Villa (High School 1991, BS Business Administration (Marketing) 1995, UPV) in cooperation with UPV Office of Alumni Relations (OAR), and the Philippine National Red Cross (PNRC) Iloilo organized a bloodletting drive for the Ilonggos. The bloodletting activity was held at the UPV Graduate and Continuing Education Building (GCEB) on February 17, 2018.

A large number of donors came from the Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO), Iloilo Provincial Police Office (IPPO), Iloilo City Government, Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT-U), University of Iloilo (UI) ROTC Units, and some private individuals.

"This blood drive is our family's tribute to him who was Chairman Emeritus of the PNRC Iloilo. It will become his continuing legacy to the Ilonggos as well," said daughter-in-law Luvel Villa (BS Business Administration 1996, UPV).
