Masked with some of the attitudes, languages, and culture left by our former colonizers, the Philippines is still blessed with the diverse and rich culture of the different indigenous groups all over our country. This can be attributed to the efforts of the various government offices, NGOs, and Indigenous Groups (IPs) themselves to keep these cultures and traditions still shining; one example of which, is the celebration of Indigenous Peoples Month every October pursuant to Proclamation No.1906, s. 2009.
